People I Would Like To See Return To WWE

The depth problem in WWE is something that we on We Talk Wrestling have been going on and on about for months. When Miz needed to be turned babyface and his opponents in “fan voting” were Zack Ryder and Santino Marella, it really hit me just how shallow the waters of WWE are these days. I mean, I knew it was bad, but its REALLY bad. The development of new stars such as The Shield, Ryback, Damien Sandow, and the Prime Time Players are absolutely needed and a step in the right direction. The problem is that the new guys need to beat established stars in order to get to the next level. That is easier said than done given that John Cena, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton are the elite, established stars and then there is a big drop off to the rest of the card such as Big Show, Sheamus, and even CM Punk. It’s also going to take time for these stars to establish themselves with the audience and develop into main eventers. » Read more..

My RAW 1000 Wish List

We are on the eve of the most promoted Monday Night RAW show that WWE has done in a long time, RAW 1000. RAW has been filled with good moments (Canada vs USA in 1997) and some horrible moments (Katie Vick) over the years but, despite it all, lasting 1000 episodes is a milestone that WWE should absolutely be commended for reaching. I have seen all over the Internet a variety of people’s favorite WWE RAW memories, so I’m not going to dog-pile on those articles. What I would like to do is give some superstars from the past that I would like to see return at RAW 1000. Some will be possible while others will admittedly be a pipe dream. So with that said, here is who I would LIKE to see at RAW 1000. » Read more..

We Talk Wrestling July 01, 2012: You Want Promos, We Got Promos

(Explicit Content) Addie and Mo are here once again with a special episode of We Talk Wrestling talking about and playing the clips of some of their favorite wrestling interviews ever.

What all do they play and talk about? How about CM Punk’s earthshaking RAW shoot promo. Sgt Slaughter saying the Pledge of Allegiance to The Iron Sheik. Dusty Rhodes talks about hard times, and Archie “The Stomper” Gouldie bears his heart to you in response to Bad News Allen’s attack on his son just to start.

Also Randy Savage, Jake Roberts, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, Joey Styles, DDP, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper and the greatness of Owen Hart. This show was a lot of work to put together but worth it for the fun of listening back to almost 2 1/2 hours of some of the greatest talkers in some of their greatest moments that you remember and some you don’t, so be sure to listen for the most fun you may have all year and hit the share buttons to spread the word.
