Survivor Series’ Greatest Teams
We are coming up on the WWE’s 26th annual Survivor Series and the writers have decided to use a “traditional” Survivor Series elimination match as one of the top matches. The fact that the team members have changed is not uncommon, as was the case in 1993′s All Americans vs Foreign Fanatics match-up, but that doesn’t mean it was good. In fact, comparing WWE today to 1993 is hardly a compliment. But enough about the bad, this column is about the good….no great. I love the Survivor Series in it’s original format, whether it was a 5 on 5 team or 4 on 4, and I thought I would look back at some of the best teams that have ever been assembled in The Survivor Series. » Read more..

My WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2013
It’s one of my favorite times of the year. For me, it’s my Christmas of wrestling, a time where legends of the past are allowed, for a brief time, to be put back in the spotlight. I smile from ear to ear with each passing week as the video packages reveal the next inductee. While a vast majority of my personal favorites have already gone into the WWE Hall of Fame, there are a lot of notable superstars that I think should be in and can go in together. I’d like to qualify this column’s suggestions but saying, before it gets going, that this isn’t my “perfect class” of the WWE Hall of Fame. Bruno Sammartino does not want to go in, nor will he, so I am not going to suggest him for that reason. I understand that Mick Foley is the current plan right now to headline this year’s class but I am holding off on Mick as well. It’s not that I don’t think Foley should be in, I do, but I am going to make a case for some people to get in ahead of Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack. For the purposes of this article I am going to follow the WWE formula of one woman, one manager, one tag team, a celebrity, two mid card performers, an upper midcard attraction, and a main eventer. The Best Wrestlers To Never Be World Champion
I was recently watching some wrestling from the past online (any listeners to our podcast will be shocked!) and Jim Ross put over that fact that, at the time, Rob Van Dam was the best wrestler to never have won the world title. As well all know, Rob would win the title at the second ECW one night stand by honorably declaring when he was cashing in the Money In The Bank briefcase against John Cena. This fact seems to have been forgotten about when the talk was John Cena was the first to give a cash in date against CM Punk at RAW 1000. RVD’s reign would be a short one, due tot he fact that he like to drive with his shirt off (amongst other things).
The point of this is that the statement Jim Ross made really got me thinking as to who really were the best wrestlers to never win the Heavyweight title. In today’s day and age the title is passed around to seemingly every guy getting a main event push in the company. “Back in the day”, when the Heavyweight champions had reigns that lasted for years or the men chosen for the title were limited to a select few, there were definitely many top notch wrestling talents that did not get a run with THE belt. My RAW 1000 Wish List
We are on the eve of the most promoted Monday Night RAW show that WWE has done in a long time, RAW 1000. RAW has been filled with good moments (Canada vs USA in 1997) and some horrible moments (Katie Vick) over the years but, despite it all, lasting 1000 episodes is a milestone that WWE should absolutely be commended for reaching. I have seen all over the Internet a variety of people’s favorite WWE RAW memories, so I’m not going to dog-pile on those articles. What I would like to do is give some superstars from the past that I would like to see return at RAW 1000. Some will be possible while others will admittedly be a pipe dream.
