Who Should CM Punk Face At Wrestlemania?

 CMPunkFists

At the Royal Rumble, a People’s Elbow ended the longest title reign that WWE has booked in a while. That elbow also started the Road to Wrestlemania and a WWE title match that is Twice In A Lifetime. It also left CM Punk without anything to do at the biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania. For months it was speculated, rumored, and even planned to have CM Punk face The Undertaker for The Streak in what undoubtedly would be one of the top matches on the show. Now comes word that The Undertaker may not be ready in time for Wrestlemania, or ever for that matter, and CM Punk may be in need of a Plan B. While Taker may go through with the match, which I personally hope and think he will do, here is a list that I have complied of possible alternatives should Undertaker be unable to work. » Read more..

CM Punk Has Turned Heel….Or Has He?

It was definitely the main talking point ever since RAW 1000: The Rock was granted a WWE Title shot at the Royal Rumble against whomever the champion is and the show closed with CM Punk GTS’ing (is that a word?) The Rock. Since that July 23rd edition of RAW, CM Punk has gone on a series of rants demanding respect. If you just read those two sentences alone, you would probably come to the conclusion that CM Punk is now a heel. Ordinarily I’d agree with that but I’m not sure I do and I’ll tell you why. » Read more..

Addie’s Summerslam 2012 Preview

It’s that time of year again. It’s time for Jeremy Piven’s favorite WWE Pay Per View, Summerfest….er Slam. This year is the 25th anniversary of Summerslam and I had high hopes for WWE’s third biggest event of the year, largely because of Brock Lesnar. Even after his return at Wrestlemania I didn’t know who he was facing but I knew he would be on this show and that I would probably be interested. I’ll start from the bottom of the card and work to the main event and give my thoughts on the build and my predictions for the matches. So without further ado, hey yo and here we go! » Read more..

Things WWE Have Made Me Stop Caring About in 2012

Well anyone that heard our last show (if not its HERE) knows that I am not big on WWE right now. RAW has just plain sucked lately and Smackdown has merely existed. Outside of Brock Lesnar, there hasn’t been one thing that I can point to and say “I really like that”. But today I sat back and asked myself, how did this happen? I mean Wrestlemania build was great and the post Mania angle and Extreme Rules match with Cena and Lesnar was also top notch. How did the mighty fall so fast?

Then it hit me. There were a lot of things that I cared about going into 2012 that I just don’t give a crap about now. So I have compiled my list of things that WWE has made me stop wanting to see throughout the course of 2012. » Read more..

Making the WWE Titles Mean Something

I’ll admit it, it’s been bothering me. For years I was able to rattle off the history of every WWF title belt starting from the early 1980′s. Things began to be more difficult in the Attitude Era, due to a combination of more championships being introduced and “Crash TV”, which changed the title like a hot potato. It was this Era that I believe was the start of the downfall of the Title Belts’ meaning in the eyes of the fans. My goal of this article is to give some easy steps that will build back the prestige of the WWE championships and help to bring back interest to programs that revolve around the titles. » Read more..

A Fan’s Perspective on the WWE Roster

Now that Extreme Rules and the dust from that show and the draft have settled some I thought it may be interesting to take stock of where the WWE sees their Superstars ® ™ on both their Raw & Smackdown rosters in comparison to what a fan like myself might do.

First off the current RAW face side and heel side as I understand it.
